Taiwo Ademola, Programme Coordinator; Biz LEAP
Taiwo Ademola is a Development Professional with keen interest in Social Enterprise Development and Innovative Entrepreneurship for private and non-private sector organizations. She is presently the Programme Coordinator for Biz LEAP and is passionate about fostering an enabling environment for SMEs as well as Entrepreneurship ecosystem growth and development in Nigeria. Her key competencies include Policy Analysis, Project & Programme Management, Business Growth Support and Multi-Stakeholder Team Management.
Taiwo holds a M.P.A. from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen Scotland and a first-class honours undergraduate degree in Political Science/Public Administration from Florida Memorial University, Miami Florida U.S.A.
Taiwo also bagged several academic awards such as National Dean’s List, Who’s Who Among Students In American Colleges & Universities and has been a recipient of several meritorious scholarship awards such as Tom Joiner Foundation Scholarship, UNCF/Target Stores Scholarship, Aberdeen Business School Merit Based Scholarship, to name a few.
Her career aspiration is to lead young African Entrepreneurs into developing their full potentials.
Olanike Adeoye, HR/Admin Officer
Olanike Adeoye is the Human Resources/Administrative Officer for LEAP Africa/Gte. She recently graduated from the University of Strathclyde, UK, where she clinched the award for the best overall performance for the Master Degree in Economics and Finance programme.
She obtained her first degree in Industrial Mathematics. She is an Associate Accounting Technician from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and has in view, the completion of the procedures for being an Associate Chartered Accountant of the same Institute. She has worked as an Underwriting Assistant as an intern at Niger Insurance PLC, she has also worked as a Customer Experience Advisor for Capita UK.
Olanike is a prolific speaker and an adept writer. She has recently self published her novel; Poached Red. She is zealous about change and transforming Nigeria. She is also passionate about young people and is on a mission to pass on the baton. She is an organized individual, and has excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Esther Alidu, Social Media Officer, Communications and External Affairs
Esther Alidu is responsible for leading LEAP Africa’s social media activities and creating publicity for programmes. She also manages the daily operations of the information desk, maintains database and designs LEAP’s e-newsletters.
Prior to joining LEAP Africa, she was involved in organising the maiden edition of the Women in Journalism Conference (Wij2014). She has had work experiences in Media and Journalism at TVC News and Radio Continental RoyalFm, (Ilorin) as presenter, assistant news editor, online writer, voice over artist for various radio jingles.
Esther holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass communication (Broadcasting) from Babcock University. She also has an Academy Diploma in TV Presenter (Masterclass) from the London Academy of Media Film And Television.
Asuquo Asuquo, Senior Programme Coordinator -Youth LEAP
Asuquo Asuquo is a Senior Programme Coordinator for Youth LEAP. He manages the social entrepreneurship arm of young changemakers in Nigeria – Social Innovators Programme. He also is responsible for special projects on youth development.
Asuquo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Netherlands, Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy and a bachelors degree in Geography, from the University of Ibadan. He also has a Certificate in Project Cycle Management from MDF Training and Consultancy Ede, The Netherlands and is a Fellow of the Netherlands Fellowship Programme.
Kehinde Ayeni, Manager, Corporate Communications and Public Relations
Kehinde Ayeni manages the organization’s Communications and Public Relations. She has over seven years’ experience in corporate communications, strategy development, digital marketing, corporate branding and public relations.
She earned her first degree in Geography and Education from the University of Ilorin and has a certificate in Advanced Skills Programe from School of Media and Communications of the Pan African University (now Pan Atlantic University) and a certificate in Sustainability Workshop for NGOs and Corporate Organizations from PAU.
Kehinde is an advocate for social good and promotes debates and causes on themes related to leadership development, social entrepreneurship, economic development and youth development.
Temitope Richard-Banji, Manager, Biz LEAP
Temitope Richard-Banji is the Programme Manager for Biz LEAP. He is passionate about Enterprise Development and strongly believes in the next generation as innovative change agents for Africa.
He is a graduate of Nottingham Business School, UK, where he obtained an MSc in Management and Investment Strategies. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Babcock University. Temitope is an Associate Chattered Economist of the Institute of Chattered Economist of Nigeria and a First Line Management professional of the Institute of Leadership and Management, (ILM) UK.
Prior to joining LEAP Africa, he worked as a Management Consultant for BMC Global Services, Nottingham and RB Alliance Consulting, Nottingham. He has also worked as the Client Relationship Associate for Domestic and General Insurance, Wimbledon, UK and other financial institutions in Nigeria.
His core competencies are in Learning and Development, Organizational & Social Development and Management Consultancy. His vision is to become a world renowned Social Entrepreneur and Consultant for non-profit organizations as well as the entire value chain of the Development Industry.
Daniel Emenahor, Programme Officer, Youth LEAP
Daniel Emenahor works as a Programme Officer, Youth LEAP which develops e-learning solutions for LEAP Africa’s curriculum. He is a Biochemistry graduate from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
Prior to working with LEAP Africa, he worked as a Business and Sales analyst for Visacover where he worked on the technical integration for vehicle inspections for Uber and insurance sales for organisations and partners.
He brings with him relevant skills in content development, graphics design and e-learning design. Daniel is passionate about people development especially in youth by providing the skills needed for personal transformation and excellence in their field. He started out in the social space organising various programmes in his alumnus. Daniel is an alumnus of the Daystar Leadership Academy and has attended other trainings.
Chinenye Etoniru, Programme Coordinator, Youth LEAP
Chinenye Etoniru is a programmes officer for YouthLEAP. She manages the LEAD the WAY programme- LEAP’s holiday leader programme for teenagers. She is also responsible for engaging and managing LEAP’s youth alumni.
Chinenye holds a Barrister of Laws degree from the Nigerian Law School Lagos and an LLB degree from University of Lagos. She also has a Diploma in French Language Studies certified by the International Centre for French Studies.
Deborah Falayi, Front Desk Officer
Deborah Falayi handles customer relations and service in her role as Front Desk Officer at LEAP Africa. She holds a National Diploma in Mass communication from the Lagos State Polytechnic in 2016 and has experience working as Secretary on her previous employment at Estymay Joint ventures. She spends her time educating young people in her community on Leadership.
Uchechukwu Ivoko, Manager, Accounts, HR and Admin
Uchechukwu Ivoko is the Accountant for LEAP Africa Ltd/Gte. She is an Accounting graduate from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. She is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Uche’s career began as an Audit Trainee and subsequently as an Audit Senior at SIAO Partners, an indigenous firm of chartered Accountants where she led teams in Accounting and Audit engagements for companies of various sizes including Non-profit organizations, This enabled her her to acquire relevant Accounting Skills.
Uche began her career in the Non profit organisations at International Organization for Migration where she served as a Finance Analyst. She brings with her specialized skills and accounting knowledge as it relates to Grant Accounting, Donor accounting, Budget management and IFRS.
Uche has also attended several IFRS trainings and has a working knowledge of its application. She is very passionate about social development as it relates to young people who are the true leaders of tomorrow and she believes that young people and businesses in Africa can be impacted through developmental programs to become leaders and change our continent.
Nissi Madu, Programme Coordinator, eLEAP
Nissi Madu is in her role as Programme Coordinator, eLEAP develops e-learning solutions for LEAP Africa’s curriculum. She is a Computer Science graduate from Babcock University and a graduate member of the Computer Professionals of Nigeria.
She has worked as a Software Developer Intern at Interswitch Nigeria Limited where she worked on the development of various web applications and as a Pre-sales design specialist at Hafol Resources Limited designing access control and surveillance solutions for various organisations. This enabled her acquire relevant skills in the design and deployment of various technological solutions.
Nissi is driven by a desire to create value with her skills, particularly in the use of technology to improve access to interactive, engaging and quality content in the education sector. She is an alumnus of the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) and The Siemens Stiftung/Do School Education Challenge Africa where she worked on Maths Simplified- a project aimed at improving students understanding of mathematics in Nigeria through the development of interactive DVD and designed a sustainable distribution model for Experimento in Africa, a product aimed at improving students understanding and interest in STEM subjects.
She brings with her relevant skills in e-learning design, user experience design, content development, and application development.
Femi Taiwo, Director of Programmes/Acting Executive Director
Femi Taiwo is the Director of Programmes and Acting Executive Director. He holds an MSc degree in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship from Manchester Business School, where he focused his research on social innovation & entrepreneurship. Femi completed his Bachelor’s degree at the prestigious Covenant University, where he earned a first class degree in computer Science.
Femi worked as the founding Executive Director of Eagles HOPE Foundation, a non-profit initiated by the Covenant University Alumni Association, where he led the organisation to create and execute award-winning youth programmes. His career journey includes a stint in the marketing team at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Nigeria; a year at a social research consultancy in the United Kingdom, and a rewarding experience in Visible Impact, Nigeria.
He brings with him extensive skills in programme management, learning & development design and delivery, business development, strategy, organisational development, stakeholder management, and innovation management.
Femi is extremely passionate about leadership development, youth development and youth-led development. He has a personal mission of facilitating the transformation of individuals, organisations and nations.
‘Sogo Oyesode, Project Manager, LEAP Institute
